Tom is a California Licensed Architect interested in helping people realize their residential dreams and exploring different ways of suburban living. He holds a Master of Architecture from California College of the Arts in San Francisco and an Associates of Architecture from West Valley College in Saratoga. His Master’s thesis, The Neighborhood in The Neighborhood, explores a domestic archipelago in San Jose, where suburban dwellers find community on the rear fence line. Additionally, Tom is teaching architecture courses at West Valley College. Previous experience includes working for Jay Plett Architect in Los Gatos, on 50+ projects spanning 5 years.

Tom also has a background in Mechanical Engineering with 25 years of experience working for Silicon Valley tech firms and holding degrees from Stanford University and The University of Texas at Austin.

Outside the office, Tom can be found mountain bike riding, playing tennis and working on projects in his backyard in Los Gatos.
